Ringing in the New Year!

If you are like us and didn't make New Years plans until yesterday I have a FANtastic idea for you! We are going to Harrah's Louisiana Downs tonight to pretend we're in the best decade [EVER] with The Spazmatics!!

They are a great cover band and can make you feel like you are in a John Hughes movie in an instant. Love these guys... So if you don't, or do, have plans just stop on by and see what I am talking about so you don't think I am a crazy person :)

Happy New Year Everyone!! 2011 should prove to be the best yet!

Above is probably one of the funniest things I have seen in awhile [warning: I do have a bit of an unbalanced sense of humor at times]. There are four episodes of these lovely llama shenanigans on YouTube so if this isn't enough for you, by all means...

Saint Diego

Around this time last year I went to San Diego for my dear friend Elka's wedding.

I thought I would share a few pics from the trip in honor of her and her hubby coming to visit for NYE tomorrow!

The weather in San Diego in January is absolutely gorgeous! It was a beautiful, sunny 73 degree weather day.
